4. Follow-up during treatment
- The appliance must be worn as prescribed by your dentist (usually 20–22 hours/day for removable appliances).

5. Total treatment duration

- The time period is shorter than that of adults because children's teeth and jaws are still growing.
6. Retainer after tooth alignment
- After the treatment is complete, you must wear a retainer to maintain the position of your teeth.
- At first, wear it all the time, then you may change to wearing it only when sleeping.
- If you don't wear a retainer, your teeth may move back to their original position.
